Project 2 Reflection

I thought I would enjoy the shooting more than the actual "making the movie" process, but it was definitely the other way around!
True, once I started shooting time flew by, but it was just so tedious and time-consuming. If I took a break, it was difficult to get back in the same position - one time I had to reshoot an entire section because I didn't realize I had a hair tie around my wrist... just tiny things like that really set me back.

Planning out exactly what and how I wanted to shoot and discussing it with my roommate Lauren (who was taking the photos) before laying down on the ground and starting was really helpful.
And, though it was tedious, finding the exact background and lighting to use was really worth the time.

I also thought I planned ahead well.. and I didn't end up procrastinating and shooting up until the last minute!! Which is awesome and different for me!! So, I hope I keep that up for the rest of the semester!

If I were to do this project again, or a project similar to this one, I think that I would like to have a more reliable process.. such as drawing pictures or the use of a tripod instead of person. That way, everything would stay in the exact same place and I would have more control over the overall look of the final product.

However, I really can't believe that I made a stop-motion movie.. I really didn't think I was capable or patient enough to do so!!!
